Let's take a tour to learn more about David Houston Diatikar. Where did he come from, what shaped his values, goals, and attitudes? Why would you want his help, coaching, or teaching? This blog is about my experiences, observations, and vision.  

I share case stories from the days of Mass Manufacturing, the beginning of Lean, the Six Sigma movement, Lean-Agile, and now Business Agility. I trust the reader will avoid making the same mistakes I made.  

The future is about learning how to think. Methods, tools, and standard processes have their place, however the future; like the past, still requires the practitioner to know how to think, observe, test, and assist the customer in shaping the vision.  

The last 50 years changed life more than all the years before combined. Let's explore what we can take with us to thrive in the 21st century. Many of us were trained from birth to be self-sufficient in everything. Asking for help was perceived as being weak and lacking leadership.  Today there is just too much to know for that strategy to work.  Now it is more about asking the right questions than knowing the right answers.
